Three Reasons to Fall in Love With Wyoming

There are several reasons to consider buying the Jackson hole real estate for sale. My wife and I had been looking to move for a while, but nothing seemed right until we found Jackson Hole realty during our home buying process. We fell in love with the Wyoming area in a matter of minutes.

Here are just a few reasons that we decided to up and move there!

1. The unique home architecture styles.

When we visited the area, we never expected to see such a variety of home architecture styles. There were home architecture styles like your traditional home to luxury log homes. The wide array of home architecture styles gave us a lot of different choices, some of which fitted our needs while others did not. However, amongst all the different home architecture styles, we found the one that just felt like, well, it felt like home.

2. The strong connection to nature that Wyoming has.

Jackson Hole, which is a valley about 80 miles long and 15 miles wide, is immersed in nature. Jackson is the major town within the valley, where we now live, and its connection to nature is beautiful. You can go to seven different national parks. There is an elk refuge. Plus, the skiing is great. In fact, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has one of the lowest base elevation of any Rocky Mountain ski resort, at just 6,311 feet, which is perfect since my wife and I are huge ski bums.

3. It is a great place to raise a family.

Not only does Wyoming have one of the lowest tax burdens, but Jackson hole luxury homes were right in our price range, since the average listing price of homes for sale in Jackson, WY was 2,401,875 for the week ending October 24, 2012.

We want to be able to raise a family in comfort and easy in one of the many different beautiful home architecture styles. Not to mention the fact that it is safe, with a crime rating of 150, which is less than half of the national average of 306.

Plus, there are plenty of jobs available within my industry, since the largest sources of revenue in Wyoming are their mineral extraction and tourism industries. This means that both citizens and businesses enjoy one of the lowest tax burdens in the country.
